From its mouth, the water emerges and flows into a rectangular basin with a ridged edge. Through these ridges, the water flows in several small streams into the main pool of the fountain. Together, the tiers, water cascade, and the powerful lion manage to provide beauty as well as all the tranquility a fountain delivers.
