Create a stunning circulating fountain effortlessly with Aquascape Faux Basalt Column Fountains. Crafted by hand in the USA from molds of real basalt, these fountains use a blend of fiberglass, resin, and actual stone for a look that's both realistic and built to last.

Unlike heavy, hard-to-move real basalt, the faux version is lightweight, making setup quick and easy. Each column features a stable base you can secure with decorative gravel. The included tubing and fittings fit neatly into the top of the fountain.

Add a splash of color or warm white light with a Fountain Light (sold separately: #84072, #84008) to make your water feature stand out. These fountains work well in custom designs or with a water basin and Ultra Water Pump for a complete, simple installation.

Note: Do not use Faux Basalt Columns with Fire and Water Torches.

Common Questions

How are these Faux Basalt Columns made?

These columns are handmade using fiberglass sheets, resin, and stone aggregate.

What if the surface gets damaged?

Minor damage can be easily fixed with common items like:

  • Black shoe polish
  • Permanent marker
  • Outdoor paint (Chocolate brown and Lamp black)

What plumbing options are available?

Each column includes 3/4″ flexible tubing and a small clear fitting. This fitting can be swapped with an Aquascape Fountain Light to light up the water flow. For more water flow, the column can fit 1″ Schedule 40 PVC pipe.

Can the base be secured in public or windy spots?

The columns are built to handle normal conditions, and gravel usually provides enough stability. If needed, the base can be further secured by drilling through the fiberglass and attaching it to the surface with hardware or zip ties.

Can the base be changed for custom uses?

YES! The base can be cut to fit into smaller areas using a grinder or Sawzall. Remember to wear eye and respiratory protection when cutting fiberglass. Note: If parts of the base are removed, make sure the columns are properly supported and secured during installation.
