It contains a powerful mix of beneficial heterotrophic bacteria that naturally break down organic matter like fish waste, uneaten food, and decaying plant material. The concentrated bacteria formula effectively cleans between rocks and gravel and helps keep pond filters, including filter mats and biological media, clean. Clean for Ponds XT is safe for fish, plants, pets, and local wildlife. A stronger, triple-concentrated (3X) version is also available for larger ponds or less frequent application.
