Aquashade®: Aquatic Plant Growth Control

Aquashade® is an EPA-registered product designed to control aquatic plant and algae growth in ponds, decorative water features, and other impounded bodies of water.

Key Features:

• Filters sunlight, inhibiting photosynthesis
• Creates sparkling blue water
• Controls submersed weeds and algae
• Most effective when applied early in the growing season

Application:

• Use 1 gallon to treat 1 acre at 4 feet deep
• Pour directly into water
• Treat entire pond volume
• Best for minimal inflow/outflow areas
• Reapply every 1-4 weeks as needed

Important Notes:

• Not for use in water designated for human consumption
• Apply during calm periods
• Easily removable from skin/clothing with bleach or chlorine/ammonia-based products
• Avoid storing in carpeted areas
