Mounting Options
- Each unit comes with two 20 ft. mooring ropes for simple hanging and use.
- Universal Mount: Secure your 1/2, 3/4, or 1HP unit to a dock or piling with this kit, allowing adjustable angle and depth. Requires a 1 inch (25 mm) nominal threaded or unthreaded pipe (customer supplied).
- Industrial Mount: Designed for 1/2, 3/4, and 1HP units, this kit features all stainless steel components for durability in harsh conditions with moving ice or strong currents. Requires a 1.5 inch (40 mm) nominal threaded or unthreaded pipe (customer supplied).
For optimal performance, position the de-icer 4 to 6 feet below the water surface.

Offered in 1/2, 3/4, and 1HP sizes, de-icers are easy to install using the included ropes or an optional dock mount kit. Time and temperature control panels are also available for purchase separately.
