Maintenance and Care

To help your Alta Girona Fountain last longer, proper winter maintenance is important. We suggest storing the fountain indoors during harsh winter months. If outdoor storage is necessary, please follow these steps:

• Remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials, and small parts
• Cover the top with burlap or an absorbent material
• Wrap with dark plastic to prevent water buildup
• Lift the fountain base off the ground to avoid freezing

Note: The unique patina finish is applied by hand using a multi-step process, resulting in a beautiful, naturally aged look. While this finish does not stop natural aging, it adds to the fountain's distinct charm and appeal.
